This was announced last week. Still there's prolifers who's going to protest the approval of morning after pills to be sold over the counter than prescription. For anyone over 18, you don't need a parental consent and a prescription, when you buy it at a store, like with condoms. But you're under 18, you still need to get it by your doctor's prescription. I'm interesting on females of all ages on those important health matter. Before you know, it'll be birth control pillls to be FDA approved for over the counter retail.

I personally am against abortion of any type...but I don't believe it should be illegal and neither should the morning after pill. I also think putting all the control in the minors parents hands is wrong. If a girl ends up pregnant..doesnt want the baby, and cant get her hands on those pills she will more than likely seek out an abortion. I think we need to make these things accessible to the children in our country. If not they will find other ways....much riskier ways of handling things...either jeoparadizing their own health or abandoning anew born baby somewhere. As much as we would all like to pretend this stuff doesn't happen....it really does. Educating our kids and being INVOLVED in their lives is the best way of protecting them. Taking away their rights is NOT. I am 24...just for your records...you wanted women of all ages.

I know this is very controversial. The reality is that our society is changing, and has been for some time. We can no longer rely on parents teaching their children right and wrong because, unfortunately parents are working umpteen hours per week and do not have the time they used to have. What's better, the morning after pill, an abortion or an unwanted baby in the world?

I don't think it should be approved to be sold over the counter.
Nowadays there are lots of people having irresponsable sex and I believe people will abuse it.
It should be prescribed and used only if your birthcontrol failed, like a condom breaking or if you were raped.

its good, but its bad, i feel that alot of people will take advantage of it, running around having unprotected sex and just popping a pill (which i heard makes you really sick). its good in a sence to if something was unplanned or possible "forced" is can protect the female from emotional stress or emotional pregnancy
