Is there any support on the web for those interested in unassisted childbirth, like email groups? The few I found, weren't what I'm looking for, I'm not into the AP groups, just one that focuses only on UC. Any ideas?

I appreciate everyone's concerns, but I've studied this for more than 10 years, and birth at home is safer than hospital births, in most cases.

I'm looking for support groups, where I can talk to others who have done it to hear their stories, to try to find someone who matches my situation. Not sites with info on it, where I just read, but where I can talk to actual people. Thanks, but I'm trying te be very specific.

Exactly what do you mean by "unassisted"? Do you mean that you want to have your baby at home with out a birth attendent? I have helped couples do exactly that but here is how it worked. They signed on with me for prenatal care and childbirth education and obtained a back-up OB and a Peditrition. They purchased all birthing supplies they would need. They chose one close friend to be present in the house during the labor and birth in case an emergency occurred. They called me when labor began and sometimes called during labor for advice. They called me as soon as the baby was born and I immediately did a home visit to assess both the baby and the mother.

Hope this helps. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
