I can honestly say try to have fun. Do you believe in God, now is a
good time to pray! I hope your new school is great and that the experience is a positive one for you! It may be a good time to check in with the guidance councelor and get a few ideas, but maybe not, just take it one day at a time and try to relax and enjoy it! God bless you!

Since you have to do this, the best thing you can do is tackle it with the most positive attitude you can.
Public school is not so bad, though I understand how the prospect of dealing with a lot of the social issues in the school can be a little discomforting. Just remember that no matter what, you are still the same intelligent person you were before and that you can get something out of each day at school.
Home schooling is often better at instilling a love of learning than the public schools, so other kids may not understand your love of learning and willingness to go the extra mile to get all the learning you can out of every day. They may try to pick on you for it or just because you are the "new kid" in the class. Ignore all that and just focus on what is important.
You CAN do this! Don't let anyone "push your buttons," for your buttons are your own and nobody can yank your chain unless you allow them to. Be strong. Be focused. And try to have some fun meeting new people and learning new things.
Best of luck.

Let me tell you you will be greatfull in the end because I feel that homeschool lets you miss out on alot of things. I know right now it doesnt feel like the best of choices but give it time dont go into it hating it because then you blind yourself of all the wonderful things that can happen in school.

You are just scared. It will be a new and exciting experience and I think you should relax and just be yourself. There are many things to learn outside of school work that you can only learn in a peer setting so I think your parents are very wise to make you attend a regular school so that you can develop to be a well rounded individual.

Don't worry about it you will be fine. None will even care you are there if you are going to a big high school. I know how you feel but you will get over it the first few days.

Try everything (clubs & extre-carricular) be friendly & positive. Kids are cruel but chances are if someone is being mean to u they've been mean to others, so stand up for yourself & ignore the rest. nobody else will remember @ your highschool reunion. Good luck.

Yea, just don't be wired. kids who are home schooled tend to not fit its almost as though they try not to fit in. I recommend trying to fit in. do the whole school spirit thing, play sports, participation is the key. or you could do what most other people do that don't fit in, and that's cut your self. It's a substitute for mental pain, it turns mental pain in to physical pain and from what I heard is major wicked.
