The yellow and brown starts at the bottom and works it's way up. It usually starts by mid-season and the plants look awful before the fruit ripens. Is it a disease or a fungus?

Could also be too much water or not enough sun!! Tomato plants will fruit best with just enough water. Make sure to buy varieties that are fusarium and verticillum wilt resistant. It will say on the tags.

i had this problem for the last ten years. i lived in the northwest, and late blight is endemic there. even when i built a raised bed and filled it with bagged soil, i still got the blight. as far as i know, there is no cure. but there is a new product sold by gardens alive that purports to work better than anything else. i haven't tried it, but they are a reputable company. and the product is organic, to boot.

depends where u at.......? could be the heat. Time of year also. you should be doing ur fall crop now...pull out ur spring or summer ones now......and feed them: Tomato-Tone! I love the stuff!!
