That's what it seems like to some.

It's amazing that they think it is an insult to be patriotic and a flag-waver.

Yes, it is better for a liberal. They steal it from flagpoles because they're too lazy to get firewood.

Did you ever notice that when they do try to burn it they are in LARGE NUMBERS.

I guess they are cowards. It isnt courageous to burn it. These days its more courageous to try to put it out.

But the media would say you are trampling on their rights to free speech...Well, what about my right to defend Old Glory? Not covered by the first amendment? How about the SECOND?

Libs always come out with the Dont Question my Patriotism line. As if in defense. I question it. i question it I question it. You are nothing but collaborators in time of war. Its treasonous and despicable.

Now, TO the answeree above who mentionned flag burning as a retirement. You are right but I suspect you are just apologisiing for the other traitors here.

You may burn a flag to prevent it from falling into enemy hands as well...but I guess retirement is what you had in mind.

Death before Dishonor. It wasnt just a movie

It seems to me that you are an expert at being unpatriotic. I guess practice makes perfect. It appears that you cannot mention the word “flag” without insulting it with your offensive comments. It is amazing that all the good people who fought for that flag and your rights as a citizen and you pi** all over the flag and wipe you *** with all our rights. You genuinely are a scholar of naught.

I'm a liberal and I have every version of the U.S. flag from birth to now. I proudly fly the flag because I've served this country.

well, if this country wasn't so corrupt maybe they wouldn't have a problem with waving the flag. What the american flag represents today is disgusting, so it seems fitting that you should go paint yourself in the stars and stripes.

Just let them burn the flag and I'd be willing to bet that every city has laws against starting fires in public places. Just arrest them for that, not the display of freedom, but for the lack of concern for public safety.

But its ok to attack decorated war heroes like kerry and murtha make up lies about them and degrade there loyalty. True patriots unlike bush who hid behind his daddy or cheney who doesn't even vote most of the time or Rummy who never served a day in his life but has no problem sending kids off to die can you say hypocrite.

I take issue with anyone who would burn the american flag.
THIS is not because i want to make it illegal but because i can not understand how someone so ignorant could earn enough money to buy a flag in the first place .
WE need to issue a permit to flag buyers in order to screen out idiots is all .

There is nothing wrong with patriotism.
The problem is, when some people become patriotic, they often become proud to a fault, and as the Bible said, "Pride goeth before a fall."
Be proud of our country, but don't become blind.
