That would depend on if it was a good relationship to begin with. And why it ended. Did he mess up or you? If it was mutual then I think you should both meet in the middle.

pick up the phone... just realize that there existed reasons why you are ex's and they may not have been resolved. also make sure that you can both respect eachother after a 'break' and that you don't do the 'so who did you sleep with' crap. what you both did while away from eachother is your own private business. keep in mind the phrase 'what good can come of it' and realize that some things need to be kept in the dark. and the second time around should be no holds barred love stuff. if you are giving it a second go give it your all! there is no 'getting to know you phase, so go for it!

Get a peice of paper and write down all the things that had something to do with your old relationship going bad and tell your ex to do the same thing. Discuss all the bad things down to why it happened and how you want to change it or make it better. I assure u that it will work. . .

The first step is for both of you to understand and agree what didn't work the first time around. The two of you may be mature enough to discover this yourselves, or you might want to sit in front of a counselor to dig it out in a calm manner.

Just tell him how you feel, and ask just him to the relationship another chance. You can write him a note expressing your feelings, but the best way is to do it face to face.

Don't. It didn't work for a reason. Chock it up to experience and move on. People don't change. People change the things that they do, but the person inside, does not change.

How did it end? Do you rally want to try again? Maybe you should just move on. Think it over before you do anything.
