because the N word has a history of negative feelings and pain attached to it. People associate it with a LOT of horrible crimes against humanity.
When a black person calls white people white or cracker, there can be times were racial hate is attached, but often its just in fun. Like teasing someone who has messed up hair. Two different things entirely.
It's often considered a double standard. But I think its a method of trying to regain normality on a tipped scale of justice.
Eventually we'll find equalibrium. ^_^

If not, see: Slavery, Jim Crow Laws, Right To Vote, 1960s Civil Rights Movement, KKK rallies still occuring, etc.

Because it is expected that certain people act certain ways.
For example, if a small retarted child gets mad and starts throwing it's feces around you would tolorate it to a poaint. If a 35-year-old successful businessman did you would be offended.

because that is a very offensive term. I myself am not offended by someone calling me white girl, but N#@#!$ is very offensive. I recommend not saying it.
