Each pregnancy will be different and when its time, the baby will reposition and drop. Be patient, better to take just a little longer than not long enough.
I have 93 deliveries under my belt in 27 years so, when its time, the baby will let you know.
Good luck with this new arrival. It is the most wonderfull thing paramedics get to do, help bring a new life into the world.

Maybe she's just a big baby. By 37 wks, yes, baby would have dropped. Or it's possible that the baby is in a breech position. Voice your concerns to your obstetrician, and maybe he/she will do an ultrasound to see where your little one is. Good luck!

The second baby doesn't usually drop until right before the birth.

Every baby is different. You can't expect the same thing to happen. A full term baby can reach up to 40 weeks and may even pass 40 weeks. As long as you continue seeing your doctor for regular check ups, your baby is fine.

First off.. I am jealous... you are 20 weeks ahead of me :)
My last pregnancy, my son didnt drop until I was 39 weeks, the weeks I had him. My doctor was not concerned. I think it differs with everyone. All my children have been different. Gosh.. good luck in the next few weeks.. your wait is almost over :)

I have been told by my doctor, that if you've already had 1 baby, the next one doesn't always drop. That happened with my second, he didn't drop til I was in labor.
