If you are a virgin there is no need for one. Getting one would make your parents think of you in a bad way.

Hi i now they have changed the age now but it depend son a lot of things but the age now. for a girl to have a smear test is 25, bacause apparantly tests have shown that cervical cancer isnt always popular in women under 25. Anyways if you have a problem down below you will go to your doctor anyway to get it checked out so you will probably have a smear test any way.
It doesnt matter wheather you are a virgin or you have sex, you still get called for a smear test as your still at risk of cervical cancer and you still need to get tested no matter what, sometimes if you are sexually active or have a baby before you are 25 you will have to have one. If you dont do any of those things you will get a letter to go and have a smear test probably when you are 24 to make an appointment.

the clinic will usually send out a letter saying your due to have a test (well mine does anyway) it from the age of 20 i think.
even if you are a virgin you should still go, cancer may run in your family which will put you at an increased risk regardless if you've had sex or not

It is now 25 years of age. You should automatically get sent for by your GP when you are old enough anyway so don't worry too much!
