my cousin is also my boss. we always go to lunch and hang out. she recently started attending a new christian church and since then she's been giving me the "up and down; i'm better than you"look. i don't want to tell her anything 'cause that might cause an awkward situation at work. but on the other hand. my opinion is, if you start attending church, its to better yourself not turn into a b***h. she's suddenly turned into a person that tells you how ur raising ur kids is wrong and how my relationship with my husband could be better. help, please.

As far as your working relationship goes, just try to keep it professional. If you do still go to lunch w/her, couldn't you mention that you feel she's changed her attitude and wonder why (don't say you think it has to do w/her going to church...maybe she'll bring that up). Tell her you feel badly because something's not right anymore and want to know what the two of you can possibly do to improve stuff. Tell her you don't feel comfortable when she begins criticizing the way you raise your children or comment on your marriage...that you don't feel those areas are her business (in a nice way!)

Then, let her take it from there. If she denies things or just doesn't want to get into it, then I'm not sure what else you can do.

If she is attending church as a true christian she will understand when you talk to her woman to woman let her know that when you are ready to turn your life to god it will be your decision and you are happy that she already has however god is the only one to judge unless you are the devil himself there is no reason for you guys not to talk
