I use my middle finger to hold the bottom of my eye open while putting the contact in with my index finger. Look straight ahead and DONT (even tho my doc told me to) close your eye after you get it in, let your contact get situated on the pupil. The best advice of all, dont be nervous, that just makes it a lot harder. Oh ya, did you use a mirror? that helps a lot lol

You should not use contact lenses. Like glasses, they only cover up the problem. Laser surgery is expensive, and I would never get surgery unless there were no other option (take the much abused gastric bypass as an example). You should use a natural vision plan, like at the following website: http://www.program-for-better-vision.com/. It is the one I am using. The eye excersises and relaxation techniques are natural and effective. The plan will give you more details about contact and glasses use during the program. It is cheap. Glasses are better than contact lenses when it comes to infections and ease to put on and take off.

yes you can. I thought the same way too. But at your eye doctor's office there will be or should be someone that will show you every step of the way. My eyes used to water every time I watched my ex put lenses in his eyes. When I was ready to try them, I thought I wouldn't get them in my eyes at all, but you know what? I did it and so can you. It takes a little practice, before you know it you'll be a pro.

Practise, practise, practise! Trust me!
If it's any help I'll give you my method:
Stand in front of a eye level mirror.
Use one hand to open eye, balance the contact on the tip of finger on other hand.
Then looking either straight at the left or the right, put your contact in over the white of your eye in the center. Wiggle it about gently to make sure its in.
Then roll your iris and pupil back under the contact. Blink gently.
Really it takes practise to find your own method and to feel comfortable doing. :)

they didnt teach you when you got them?
Go back and have them show you how. its easier than trying to understand it via the internet.
