I had this best friend who always lied, slept with the guy who I was dating for 8 years which ended over a year ago, she has been very sexually active to the point she got a bad name and made me look like a fool for hanging out with her, calls me stupid, calls her family names, threatened to kill me in a letter. I told her family what was going on and she won't admit to none of it to make me look like the evil one. I took the blame for telling her family and for other things that I DIDN'T DO. I let her know I still cared and wished her best wishes. Why is it more important to be daddy's perfect angel at 41 than to admit to mistakes and keep friends???

I think you should stop being friends with her and find a new friend. She sounds like bad news. If she threatened to kill you, then that is no where near being a good friend. I would never threaten to kill one of my friends. She is not a very good person and you sound like you are better than that and i think you deserve some one much better than that for a friend. Sorry to break it to you, but your friend is not a friend.
