my grandparents were just grandma and grandpa. but my son calls his Nonnie and Poppi and Yaya and Papa

My dad's side of the family is Italian and he called his grandmother, Nanny.
Personally I always called my moms parents Nana and Poppy and my dad's grandma and grandpa

I only had one and I called him Grandpa before he passed.
My daughter's grandparents are E-maw, Granddad, Noni and Pop

Gramma and Grampa. I like the sound of Papi ("pop-eye") and Mami ("mom-eye") They are mother and father... but work for grandparents tooo.

my nieces call my mother Mina. don't ask me where they got it from. but everyone seems to like it! Papi and Mina.

I pretty much grew up with grandfathers. I just calledmy grandmothers grandma as a kid, and grandma as an adult.
