Reading EW mag., I keep track of movies I think I might like. Not the usual mainstream. Here are three that seemed interesting (to me):

Hard Candy, Brick, Dog Soldiers.

If you've seen any of them, give me an opinion.

I've seen Brick. I thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. You'll have to enjoy indie films and pay careful attention to detail.

You can rent it at blockbuster and I suggest you watch it a few times. It may be tricky to interpret some of their dialogue so you may want to keep the remote handy so you can rewind.

I've seen Dog Soldiers a few years ago. It's a british horror film about werewolves. Very well done. A team of soldiers are left for a few days on a training mission and end up being chased by werewolves. Definately worth a watch. Not seen the others.
