My mother sent me her email address in a letter and said it was all lower case. When I send her an email it must be going trough because I don't get anything that says otherwise. I have even tried through yahoo's internet.

Have your mom mail you first...then reply. Many times people will misquote an email address or forget some part.

Email addresses and domain names (the part after the @ sign) are NOT case sensitive.

I.e. test@domain.com is the same as TEST@domain.com or test@DOMAIN.com.

If you're getting an email in reply that's from a "Mailer Daemon" or "System Administrator" then more than likely she's changed her email address or she misspelled it in the letter, in which case you should try another form of contact. If you're not getting an automatic reply- she may not be checking her email or may have gotten a new address and neglected to close her old account.

is she still alive?? If you don't get an email saying it couldn't go through then it is being delivered. Does your mom know how to check for new email?

write your mom ask her again for the e-mail address or you can go to member page and look her up and get the correct address if she is a aol.com member ,ask her to e-mail you from her account so you have the right address
