Go to loads of questions and give incrediby good answers, so you'll keep receiving 10 points for Best Answer! Don't ask too many questions though, coz you lose 5 points each time!! (Mind you, if you yourself choose the best answer to your question, at least you get 3 points returned to you). Good luck!

To encourage participation and reward great answers, Yahoo! Answers has a system of points and levels. The number of points you get depends on the specific action you take. Each time you ask a question, it's -5 points. Every question you answer, you get 1 point. Each best answer you select to your own question gets you 3 points. You get 5 points returned if your question fails to get a best answer.

If your answer is selected as a best answer, you get 10 points. You get 1 point for each vote you make, and 1 point just for turning up each day.

To reach Level 2, you'll need to get to 250 points: to get to Level 3, you'll need to accumulate 1000 points. Level 4 is 2,500 points away, and levels 5, 6 and 7 are for seriously hardcore geniuses who don't need to ask any questions at all. (You'd need to accumulate 5000, 10000 and 25000 points to get that far).
