I have more discharge and am tired. I also just started grad school so that may have something to do with it.

I had my period on August 13th.. Had sex on August 19th and 20th.. so it's only been a little over a week. Didn't know if you could start noticing or feeling symptoms.

The only way to know for sure is to take a test - you didn't even say on what day of your cycle you are now. If your period is late, then yes. If not, it's too early.

It is still a little too early to get a + test. I have hard of a + 10 days after ovulation but no earlier. If you normally have a 22 day cycle then you ovulate around day 7-9. (wow that is a short cycle) It would be day 8 if you have a 14 day lutal phase. That would put ovulation on or around the 21st. The times that you had sex are great if your are trying to conceive.

If I was you I would wait till the 1st to test. If you get a negative then test again in 2-3 days. Your HCG level will double every two to three days. I would keep testing every 2-3 days until I got a + or my period started. But that is just me...I hate waiting. If you don't mind waiting then wait to test until the 4th or later.

good luck.

I have short cycles too but not as short as yours. Mine this cycles is 24 days. You cycles is a great example of "can I get pregnant when I am on my period" because if you (or anyone with a 22 day cycle) has sex on day 4 then the sprem might still be around on day 8 when you ovulate. Very interesting! I love the female body. So complex and so wonderfully interesting.

It's too soon to test; if you are it's likely the embryo hasn't even implanted yet. But, there is a distinct possibility you're pregnant. Since your cycles are short, you probably ovulate fairly early in your cycle; most women ovulate 12-16 days before their period

Just take a test, if it comes up negative and you still don't start in 5 days, take another one. Some pregnancy tests can detect the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days before you miss your perios. So, hang in there.
