When I start my very old computer (I got it back around 1996. Its hard disk size is 516MB, lol), I get the message: "Disk I/O error. Replace the disk, and press any key". The computer won't start windows. How can I fix this? Is my hard disk messed up? Is it saying I have to replace it?

Remove the floppy disk from your computer then boot.

If there is no floppy disk in there, then your hard drive may be dead.
