I would say all three. Most noticeable is the use of children's language and thought patterns. I think that would fall under all three of the above.

diction? tone? syntax? word choice? I assume you mean the style of his writing as pertains to enders game. Im pretty sure it isnt diction, as for the others well he uses all those things like everyother writer.
