I used to work that shift. Loved it....except on Friday nights. The coolest people always work second shift. .. Enjoy it!

lol. For 2 semesters as an undergrad, I worked from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m., and then I had an 8 a.m. class to go to. It really, really S U C K E D. I would be so tired in class that I literally couldn't hold my head up some days. Oh the things we do for money. And education.

I'm on the same boat. I'm about to leave for work, my shift begins at 4:00pm and ends at 12:00. It's not all bad, I only have to deal with the big boss for about one hour.

Wow, not only are those crap hours, but ten of them, all at once. I hope you're getting over time, because that is pain and suffering. Stick it out and find a nine to five-er. I used to do second shift four to twelve and it wore me out...find something that suits you better if you can.

I feel your pain. I work shift work at a powerplant. Six day shifts, off two, seven evening shifts, off two, seven midnights, off four, then I start all over. I've been doing it for 25 years, but I get to retire in two years.

I work a rotating schedule ... mornings, swings and graves ... so I never know when to sleep.
