I think bindis are gorgeous (for those that don't know, it's a little jewel that Indian women and men place in the middle of their foreheads), but being a very non-Indian girl, I don't think I'll ever have a chance to wear them. I really want to be able to wear them once and a while (maybe just to parties), but do you think this is totally weird? If you saw a blonde-haired woman wearing a bindi would you laugh?

I'd high five you.
I think Indian garments are probably one of the single most gorgeous things to ever adorn a human body.

I've known caucasian (white) girls who wear bindis and other Indian facial jewelry, just for fashion. It can be very pretty and is a striking and different look. My friends have often worn them out to clubs, when they get dressed up in fun party clothes.

However, before you wear one, I would advise talking to some Indian people about it. You want to make sure that you're not offending anyone's culture. Sometimes a jewel or other adornment can have a specific meaning, and you want to know what message you might be sending. Also, you just don't want to offend anyone. Do your research, that's all.

Hi I am of part Eastern origin & I wear bindis on special accasions that match the right clothing. The clothing could be something hippyish, flowy, very feminin. They are gorgeous. When wearing a bindi accentuate your eyes with black kohl/black eyeliner,& a soft eye shadow almost a brick-apricot, or if you choose todo so go bold with turqoise greeans/blues & eyeliner but keep the lip color subltle, maybe a natural shade with gloss , or just gloss.Wear what you like, don't worry how other's persieve you as.Be the induvidual you were born to be,why should that effect anyone as long as you are not hurting anyone!Enjoy your BINDI`S.

Personally I like the jewel styled in the middle of my head, its actually worn for particular reasons such as, religious traditions and a girl is be coming a woman, but if you wanna wear it go ahead. Its not offending the Indian community that u wanna wear it, but respect the fact that it is worn because of Indian traditions if you choose to wear it.
