dede2772 - the memory dump possibly could be fixed, unplug ALL Cords from the tower including the monitor, network, printer, etc. then open the case up, and ground yourself by touching the backside ( Unpainted ) part of the computer and look at the memory module, and make sure the memory is seated, and if you need too, pop both ends loose from the memory stick pull the memory out and reset it back in the same way it came out.. Push down firmly to reseat the stick, if its in correctly the clasps on the module will shut against the stick, snap and lock.... After that, Put the casing back on, plug everything back in.. This will eliminate the memory question, "Memory Dump" is when the PC crashes and it has to dump the memory to restart again, I have seen memory dump problems when someone installs say Microsoft Word and it is incompatible with something else, and when they reboot they get the blue screen with a bunch of words, numbers and alot of things written on the blue screen, I uninstall the Program that conflicts with it, and the PC runs fine then. So it can be fixed, Nothing is impossible, there are two quick answers for those who don't know enough about a problem with computers. 1. It's a Virus, or 2. It cannot be fixed.. Unless the PC Blows Up or it is shot with a weapon, then yes it can be fixed, Pinpointing the problem and troubleshooting usually handles the memory dump problem. Go here and read this forum article, it tells and talks you through debugging memory dumps and it may solve your problem altogether. Good Luck

Small Memory Dump records the smallest amount of information that will help identify any problem in your computer. It is computer's way to tell you that he is sick and you need to check it. It is this message that keeps popping up. Normall it should go automatically in 30 seconds. If you want, you can disable this message. This is how you do it.

I am assuming you use XP on windows. Go to CONTROL PANEL. Go to SYSTEM. Double click SYSTEM icon. Go to ADVANCE. Go to START UP AND RECOVERY. Click ERROR REPORTING. Click the radio button DISABLE ERROR REPORTING. Put a 'right' mark on BUT NOTIFY....OCCUR.

This should mainly take care of your display problem. But this isnot the solution of the actual problem in your computer. Now you do following for your photos.

1. Take backup on CD, or floppy (not reliable), pen drive.
2. Attach photos to mail, and save the mail in DRAFT.
3. Save the photos on Yahoo photos, or Yahoo Briefcase.
4. Remove the photos folder from C drive, and transfer it on to E or F drive. Do not keep anything of importance in your C: drive.

Then you should ask some computer expert to take a look at your comp. It is not good to suppress the warnings given by your comp. Attend to it.

try this.
when the machine is booting up, keep hitting the F8 key
If it works you might get to a black and white screen with some options. You want to highlight the option that says something like:
boot with last known good configuration

If that doesn't work, do the F8 thing again and choose the option that says Safe Mode

If any of these work and your machine boots into windows, copy your files off to disks or CD's, whatever you have.

Good Luck!

yeah you need to have a cd writer and cd writing software (usually comes along with the cd writer) and a couple or triple of empty cds. then you write the pictures on to the cd but you need to know the exact location of the pictures before writing the cd for more detail info contact me j2v2k6-tech@yahoo.co.in
