Luna, intercourse IS penetration. And yes, you can get pregnant without the actual act of intercourse. All the semen needs to do is get near your vaginal tract to impregnate you.

After looking all the opinion above, I think some clarification is in order.

Yes it is possible to get pregnant without penetration, the biggest arguement is that a drop of semen containing sperm can leak through the virgina lips and work its way up to the uterus. However, it is unlikely and a low possibility for a woman to conceive a child through this way.

Since sperm are microsopic organism that are very small and short lifespan. For it to travel from the lip of the virgina all the way to uterus is to ask a person to go around the world in a month in a bicycle. However, understand rare circumstances this does happen, but highly unlikely.

Yes it does take one sperm to impregnant the egg inside the uterus, however it does take hundred if not thousands of sperm to break the protective barrier on the outer layer of the egg for one of them to break in. Imagin thousand of army man storms a castle that is heavily guarded, you'll get the picture.

Its not a one-sperm job, it takes many, many, and many of them to get through to the egg. And without the actual penetration to deliver them right on the spot on the opening of the uterus, the brave few sperm that does travel far to the egg probably suffer exhaustion from the trip and don't have enough energy to break through the barrier on the egg. Its not that easy and yet not that hard...

You should always have protection before engaging, it will definitely help to reduce your worry and stress after the moment. Its definitely worth it.

Intercourse involves some kind of penetration. Yes you can get pregnant with pentration if your not careful, on birth control, or using a condom. If your having other sexual contacts that doesnt involve a penis pentrating the vagina, then no you cant get pregnant....unless of course he ejaculates close enough to the vaginal area where it can travel inside and welcome itself. I would suggest getting a pregnancy test if you are that worried and have missed a period as well. Have a nice day...

if the guy drips some sperm on your vagina crack it can leak inside and work its way in and u can get a baby in 9 months
