Unfortunately it happens in all sales. I remember once showing multiple homes to a family (who would write offers and then retract them) when I was selling real estate and they, in turn, went to an open house and followed through and bought from another agent on their own. C'est la vie.

Well if the first rep had done thier job properly this would not be an issue. Customer service is part of the job, and if the second rep is more up your alley then I do not see how it would be wrong. You dont get sales in Avon or any where else by making the customer uncomfortable.Chose whos right for you.

Depends on if you promised the first one that you would order from them. If not then it doesn't matter. Avon books are easy to get ahold of. They advertise the product for sale, not the salesperson.

If the first one didn't give you good enough service to follow up with you or weren't particularly helpful then fine. If they were really helpful and friendy then I would do whatever I could to give them the sale. It's thier livelyhood. I know how it feels to give amazing service only for a lazy team member to get the sale and the credit!

Well, that's not very nice or fair to the one you got the book from. Could you get a book from the one you buy from? Think how you would feel if you were in her shoes. Remember "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
