Kind of hard to explain but it feels like the baby's body is pushing up towards my ribcage.... making the whole top part of my uterus feel from the outside that it might be contractions(It tenses up for a while then releases). It has been doing it on and off since late last night...
and if its not contractions, do you have any idea why my baby is acting this way(meaning why she is pushing so intensely like that)?
I doesn't hurt though, i can just feel it.

I imagine that you are in last stages of your pregnancy. Your little one is running out of room in your womb. He is just stretching his feet out a bit.

I was told by my doctor that they were Braxton Hicks contractions, a normal part of pregnancy. If you have any pain or abnormal discharge be sure to call your doctor though just to be sure.

it could be Braxton-Hicks contractions, but it may not be...go to your hospital and tell them (or call your doctor) you think you may be in labor...they should have no problem hooking you up to the fetal monitor to check it out....however, my "real" labor just felt like my son was bunching up into a little ball inside of me. Congratulations!
