There is nothing wrong with dating people that are of a different race then you are but you have to keep in mind the cultural and or religious differences that might cause problems. Not that these can't be overcome but it can cause difficulties that you both need to work on and find a solution for when the two of you start to be more interested into each other and get serious. It may be possible that you have to give up your religion when you find someone of a different culture and religion that you have fallen seriously in love with. It can also be possible that his family doesn't want to accept you or that you have to prove yourself to them to show them that you are worthy to come in their family.
I have been there so I know what it is. My husband is Native American and I'm from a Muslim background but we fell in love and decided to be together but things haven't been easy for us however everything has brought us closer together and we know that the love we have can survive all the tests in time

It's ultimetly your decision, but I have some personal preferences I'd like you to take into account. Keep in mind that dating is a way of possibly showing interest in marriage:

1. If religion is insignificant to you, marry a person of the same or different religion. However, if religion is very important to you and you expect to raise your children in that religion, then marry a person of the same religion. Religious families of parents with two religions are very dysfunctional sometimes.

2. Marry a person of your own culture, or ethnicity. First of all, it will help with the communication between your family and his. Then also consider different customs that you will be shocked and amazed by if you marry a person of a different culture. Also, you have people who will be reliable to give you advice, but how should they know how to help if your significant other is different than them.

Overall, I'd recommend marry a person of the same race and religion as you. But this is only me and my personal experiences.

Good luck.

And I am Middle Eastern BTW.

I don't think you should base which guy you date by race.
If you sticked with your own race, then you would be automatically dismissing tons and tons of guys. Which isn't good for dating life...and just for life in general.

Date who your attracted to. If thats mostly white guys, go for it. Or if its mostly Asian guys, do it. But don't just stick to ONE.

if that doesn't satisfy you... MY taste is Hispanics. Especially Cubans and guys from the Carribean. But thats just me, do you.

yes the human race is like a beautiful flower garden. So many different flowers to choose from, each with it's own look ,color and smell.I love all people just like I love all flowers. So pick the flower you like best..in-fact why not pick a boutique of flowers.
