The introduction of the number zero by Muhammad Bin Ahmad in 967 AD. Zero was introduced in the West as late as the beginning of the thirteenth century. Modern society takes the invention of the zero for granted, yet the Zero is a non-trivial concept, that allowed major mathematical breakthroughs.
Concerning Algebra, al-Khawarzmi is credited with the first treatise. He solved Algebra equations of the first and second degree (known as quadratic equations, and are are prevelant in science and engineering) and also introduced the geometrical method of solving these equations.
Arab achievements in the field of geometry were crowned by the discovery made by Abu Jafar Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn al-Hassan, known as Nassereddine al-Tusi. Al-Tusi separated trigonometry from astronomy. This contribution recognizes and explains weakness in Euclid's theory of parallels, and thereby may thus be credited as founder of non-Euclidian geometry.
Arab contributions to medical science were legion, encouraged by the construction of hospitals in Baghdad, Cairo, Damascus, Samarkand and elsewhere, over a thousand years ago.

Do an internet search to educate yourself. I am not Arab but I have a knowledge of world history. You should educate yourself also. Because someone doesnt fit your ideal political preference doesnot mean they havent made a contribution to civilization.
Our country is now fighting in Iraq who had one of the earliest civilizations known.
Oh, by the way zero came from India thru the Arabs.

Aside that this is an ignorant question, I would like to ask you: what have you contributed to our world beside spewing hatred? They have contributed a lot: cultures, religion, consumer products. Even the "terrorism" you mentioned contributes by giving people who are in homeland security jobs. They give weapon makers jobs. And just so you know, American created these groups back when we were against the Russians...except we called them "freedom fighters". We created much of the trouble, if you don't know your history.

Terrorism has, and does, occur in other nationalities and ethnic groups.
Arabs contribute a sense of value in a person's life. To an Arab/Muslim, saving one person's life is the equivalent of saving all of humanity. To an Arab/Muslim, interfering with your body is considered a terrible sin. They don't drink, they don't do drugs, they don't commit adultery or premarital sex, and don't even lie.

I'm assuming we are including Egytians in this mix, in which they gave us writing, numerical advances, a way to preserve bodies, and many mythologies.
There are so many things they have given us as far as culture. Do not underestimate people just because you don't personally know what they've done. Sure, you're asking, but in a very derogatory fashion.

Thru mathematics they gave us the zero, plus algebra. They gave us art, literature, architecture, astronomy, medicine, philosophy--------------and, shall I go on?
They also gave us one of the greatest times in history with the Moors in Spain. It was a time of relative peace, with acceptance of Christianity and Judaism, along with their Islam.
