I had severe left abdominal pain just yesterday. It worsened when I took a deep breath. I was very concerned but it went away the next day.
If it is the lower right, it could be the appendix. If it persists continuously for more than 2 days, u should get checked out.

Hi, both my friend and I had a similar problem.
I don't want to freak you out, but she turned out to have a growth growing on her ovaries which was causing her incredible pain.
Mine, less crazy, turned out to be stress regarding school work and moving away from my area etc.
Also as mentioned above it could be your appendix.
Either way, I really suggest you go see your Doctor, s/he will be able to refer you to a hospital if needs be or at least perscribe some antibiotics.
I hope everything goes well!

it could be chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, an std, cancer, gas, menstrual cramps, or appendicitis. you really should go see a doc if the pain is so severe that it is interfering with your daily routine. i'm not a doc, so it isn't a good idea to rely on us to diagnose you. you should really let a professional check you out. more than likely, it isn't anything to worry about, but if you have appendicitis and it goes untreated, it could burst and then you set yourself up for all sorts of nasty sepsis and blood infections - who wants their intestinal ick getting into their abdominal cavity??? ewww. go to the doc.

It could be just gas...
Or it could be a urinary tract infection.
If it is gas, it will hurt more when you try to lay flat on your back.
If it is a urinary tract infection, it will hurt when you pee and you should drink alot of cranberry juice until you can see a doctor about it...
Barring that, if you are a woman, it could be a yeast infection or toxic shock syndrome.
No matter which of these things it is, you should lay off caffeine for awhile...

You may need to use the bathroom and could be constipated. You could be having premenstural pain. You could have an ulcer or a hernia. You could have pulled something. Regardless of what it could be, you may want to check with a doctor to make sure it's nothing serious.

About a hundred different things. See a doctor if its really severe, or if lasts for more than 24 hours.

could be numerous things but sounds serious enough for you to go to see a doctor immediately. Unless you recently ate something spoiled and maybe having food poison symtoms. Regardless, if it's severe go see a doctor immediately!

It is likely your appendix. I had appendicitis and it hurt like hell. Go to the hospital to get checked out...they would have the best answers and wouldn't be looking for 10 points!
