I am working from home now and our I.T. guy gave me all the info to set up my work email with outlook. I can recieve messages but I cannot send them. Any thoughts on why?

Make sure you go into Outlook Account settings and make sure you have your smtp-setting in there... It should look EXACTLY like your pop setting but instead of the word pop - you used smtp.

If you can receive, it means your pop server is mentioned but maybe smtp is inverted or spelled incorrectly. First thing I'd check.
