what is Prison Break about?

i kind of know by the title of the show. i have never watched the show.
But, do they try to break out of prison every episode? is that is all about?
is it the same as Lost, that they are trying to get out of the island but they wont?

It's a continuing drama, like "Lost" is.

Short answer.... A really smart guy seeks to save his brother from capital punishment for a crime the brother didn't commit (the murder of the Vice-President's brother) by getting sent to same prison and then breaking them both out.

Longer answer.... Get's way too long. Suffice it to say, there's a lot of intrigue as ppl are trying to stop the two brothers from escaping and finding out the truth.

I've never seen the show except from commercials and I am pretty sure it is about some guy (or guys) breaking out of a prison and they keep running. A whole season is wasted by authorities trying to track them down.

Cooper. On the outside, Michael’s only ally was his defense attorney and Lincoln’s former girlfriend VERONICA DONOVAN (Robin Tunney), who protected Lincoln’s targeted son LJ (Marshall Allman). Veronica’s quest for the truth led straight to the White House, Secret Service Agent PAUL KELLERMAN (Paul Adelstein) and the power-hungry Vice President, CAROLINE REYNOLDS (Patricia Wettig), whose brother, in secret, is very much alive.

Overcoming many setbacks, the brothers and six other inmates ultimately escaped from Fox River. The prison break had its consequences, however – Michael was forced to betray his father figure, Warden HENRY POPE (Stacy Keach); prison doctor SARA TANCREDI (Sarah Wayne Callies), who was instrumental in the escape plan and had romantic feelings for Michael, relapsed with drugs and overdosed; and Westmoreland died of injuries sustained in the escape, but not before revealing that he was indeed D.B. Cooper – and providing a clue to where he had hidden over $5 million in cash.

Outside the prison walls, the escape truly begins as the convicts race for their lives – and the hidden cash –while trying to avoid capture by the authorities. The pursuers are led by vengeful prison guard Captain BRAD BELLICK (Wade Williams), who, driven by a personal vendetta, will stop at nothing until the escapees are captured or killed.

my brothers crazy about this show. idont know what the second season is about. the first i do know. this guys brother gets unfairly arrested, so he commits a crime to get into prison. what nobody knows is that he designed the prison. he has the design on his tatoos. things unfold from there.

you know i watched it at first b/c the guys on there were cute. then after a while it made no sense, every epsiode they tried to break out. and they finally go out but how the hell are they going to stay out?
