When a web page comes up and you hit the back button, instead of the previously viewed page coming back up, the same page will appear. The only way to leave the page is to close it, then you lose the previous pages. Why is that?

I don't know why this happens but I do know that you can right click on the back button and you will see a list of the previous pages you were on. You can then click on the page you want to go back to and skip that annoying page that won't go back.

That probably happens because the page before the current page re-directed you to the current page.

To get back to the page you're trying to get to: either click the down-arrow next to the back button & then click the second page title from the top; or double-click the back button.

The back arrow is not black so no matter what I do I can't go back to the previous page. Even the history will not show up.

This happens to me sometimes. I hit the back button 2 or 3 times real fast and I get where I want to be.
