Okay I had my baby a little over 2 wks ago, and I think I'm ready to have sex again. My doctor told me when I was ready I could just use protection and make sure I was of course done bleeding. With my first baby I had sex after 3 or 4 wks. I know I'm ready, is there anyone else that has had sex so soon after a baby? Everything is healed(didn't have stitches or anything), and I made sure of that with the doctor first. SO should I go for it. Plus I think I need to releasee them certain endorphins or I'm gonna go crazy.

You have the ok from your Dr. and as long as you feel ready go for it. But know this I have 3 friends who did it when their babies was just 2-3 wks old and they was giving birth again in 9 mths. So, just becareful and go wild with it. Good Luck!! Oh, you might want to get a baby sitter for the nite. HA! HA!

I don't agree with your doc. You should wait 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery and 4 weeks after a c-section. You run a higher chance of infection having sex that early. Give your body time to recover. And if you do use protection, or you will get pregnant again.

in the beginning in case you have an ongoing situation that has been on the choose for fifty 3 days, it truly is completely functional so which you are able to attend yet another 4! there's no underlying abnormality, yet you will pick some verify exams, the two one among blood and in all probability an ultrasound.

I had sex at 2 weeks, just start slow and make sure both of you are willing to stop if you find that you aren't ready. (that takes a certain amount of preperation in it self)
Good Luck!

Take it easy...if you feel comfortable with it, go for it! You NEED it ASAP after child birth, but be careful. If intercourse is too painful yet, you can always receive......sometimes it's nice not being the giver all the time...good luck and happy humping!

I have always heard that you are supposed to wait six weeks. If your doctor tells you that it is ok I would take heed his advice.
Be careful though, until your cycle is regular again it is very easy to get pregnant again.
