Okay Im 12 and my boyfriends 13 Anyway my boyfriend had been smoking since he was 8... i knew this b4 i went out with him but at the time he told me he quit. After I went out with him i found out he sitll smokes like a pack a day or sometin. He said he quit. Then when i told him i knew he didnt quit he said he only smoked with his 16 year old friend and they would split the pack everytime they hung out.He went on vacation and came back and said that he quit for me and he hadnt had one since the week he left for vacation (3 weeks ago) then today his friend was over when we were tlaking online and i asked if his friend knew and he was like yeah he knows he saw me smoke one today. I was shocked. i had though for so long that he had quit. I asked him y he lied and he said he didnt know and that he hasnt smoked cigs but a water bong pipe... which i dont know what it is. plz help me. i dont kno if i shoul get help or not... plz plz plz

Sweetie, his cigarette smoking is the least of your troubles here. A relationship with a liar is a very rocky and painful one (I know from experience) You seem like a really nice girl. I know it's not an easy thing, and you really care for him. But, for your own good, you need to break it off. He's lying to you, and the bong pipe is used for smoking pot. Find a trusted adult to help him if that makes you feel better, but you need to end the relationship....seriously honey for your own good. Firstly, you're 12, you don't need a boyfriend.
Secondly, if he's lying to you over this and he's daft enough to smoke, he's just a jerk.
Thirdly, a water bong pipe is just as dangerous to a person's health as a normal cigarette.
He's trying to be big but he's actually showing how immature he really is. You need to get on with your life by having friends, not boyfriends and even if you did want a boyfriend, I'd get one who had more sense and honour.
You don't need to get help but he needs to grow up.

If he never listened to you after telling him so many times, you should dump him. He's not the right person for you. He really needs help getting off of smoking.

ok let hi do what he wants!!! trust me dont get to atached u will end up heart broken and crying 24/7 when he dumps u it happend to me and i still cry and its been 2 weeks just forget and move on im telling u this causeits way better in the long run

I think you should dump him, if he's lying about a thing as little as cigarettes, then who knows what else he's lying about. Plus your twelve years old, you shouldn't be worrying about a boyfriend, you should hang out with you friends. Trust me, life only gets harder as you get older, so live it with as little stress as you can now. Don't worry about boys, they'll always be there.

You've probably already done this, but tell him to quit or your over. If he really likes you, he will quit or get help. If you don't want to risk your relationship, you need to get help. This is a serious issue, and his life is in danger. Talk to your guidance counselour to keep it private. Do it for him, and for you.

have a smoke when you are young, quit in your twenties or thirties when you realise that you are not going to live forever. it is far better not to spend the last few years with lung cancer or emphesema.
A bong is normally used to smoke a narcotic.

he lied to you, and he smokes. those are two very good reasons to dump him. smoking is not ok even if you are old enough to do it legally. and lying?? you can do so much better than him. you deserve better. kick him to the curb.
