nothing is 100% effective you just have to practice safe sex and stay on the pill... both of those together decreses your chances of getting pregnant significantly...

Birth control pills are effective up to 99%, pretty much same with condoms. You should use both to prevent pregnancy and std's. There are other birth control methods; injections, spermicides, ect. I don't know that there is a best brand, the type of birth control a person uses is something to discuss with a physician. Besides, it doesn't matter if there is a best brand if you don't have a perscription from a doctor for it. I'd also like to add that if you don't know if birth control pills or condoms really work you are probably too young to be having sex.

Birth control pills (when used correctly) are about 99% effective, condoms are only about 75% effective. With birth control pills it isn't about brand, it's about the right hormones in the right dosage for the girl's body.

Using a condom and birth control is good contraception. Pills such as yasmin or orthotricycline work well.

The birth control pill is not 100%, but it is pretty effective for preventing Pregnancies. It does not protect you from STDs.

It is birth control pill and it helps as far as pregnancy is concerned, not STD's. They can be gotten at most free clinics, the doctor know what is the best kind after he/she does an examination.

Use both. Your doctor should be able to determine the right type of birth control pills for you, though. Ask your doc....there are lots of different types out there.

Edit:
QueenBee....waiting for marriage is totally overrated. Why would you want to do that, only to find out that the sex totally sucks with whoever you marry? It would be kinda sad to divorce over bad sex. But sex is definitely not something to be played with. Please please protect yourselves people! I learned the hard way and now I have a five-year-old!

It's called Birth Control and neither of them are 100% effective But use both if you don't want to take any chances of getting her pregnant or getting a std!

You need to go to the Doc to find out what brand is good for you. Your Doc might ask you some personal questions to find out whats best for you.
