Yes!!! Definitely true! It's hard because I have a girlfriend who I used to go out with 3-4 times a week and now I never see her. She is 4 years older then me and mad that I got married before she did. I'm 28, she's 32 and I've been married a year now. I don't think she'll ever understand, but I'm having lots of fun with my hubby too!!

Well there's nothing wrong with that..some people are just like that . They go into a relationship with someone that becomes their BFF I am the same way, my man is my BFF. I still have friends that I talk to all the time, hang out once in the while and definitely be there for everyone when they need your undivided attention. Try keeping your friends, cause they come once in the blue moon and well men are everywhere! Don't stress it true friends understand and are patient.

It happens to a lot of women. They feel they have all they need right there at home, which is true and your friends should understand that when you get married, hanging out usually slow down a lot. "A new life" for you.

But I would still hang out with the girls once in a while, even if you take hubby with you.

i feel you are truly in love with your husband and there is nothing wrong with not wanting to spend allot of time with your Friends. But we all do need alittle space. so every blue moon make time for your friends it's healthy. I like the idea that there are happy marriages out there. Best to you both. I'm the same way.

I still want to be around my friends but I bring my husband with me. Granted I have a very co-ed group of friends. My husband and I hardly go anywhere without each other. After a time, my friends have gotten over their hurt of not being alone with me any longer and they have grown to love and respect him as much as they do me. Now he's always included without any reservations.

Yes I did that with my first and second marriage and fun can only last so long... You need to each have your own time and individuality ........ Warning You need friends cause who will you have to turn to when you need help that your hubby can't help you with ...... I made that same mistake 2 times gave up all my friends for men and it was such a mistake I tell all my kids that you have to have friends besides your mate otherwise you will be a lonely soul later in life

That's great. I hope that doesn't change for you. I was like that when I first got married, too. It's like you feel spoiled or something because you have a friend and a man all rolled up in one big husband. That's great.

I always tried to keep the networking going with my girlfriends. My husband is my best friend, lover, confidante. But, I still like to see a movie in the afternoons or on a Saturday with a girl friend, I still enjoy my hobbies, and he enjoys his, and several of them we don't do together -- I don't ski, nor do I like to sail, and he doesn't show horses or do lapidary, or sculpt in bronze or stone. And I tutor for free, sometimes, so, don't give up all of your hobbies and girlfriends.........
