Johnson took the lead from Kennedy on civil rights (including a civil rights bill) and a tax cut. He also urged us to build a great society where life matches labor, this building of a great society includind aid to education, attacking disease with Medicare, urban renewal, conservation and a wide-scale fight against poverty (which he is still remembered as a forerunner in the fight against poverty today). He also had ideas for the control and prevention of crime and delinquency and the removal of obstacles to the right to vote. He also helped the elderly people through a Medicare amendment to the Social Security Act.
He was also the president when three astronauts successfully orbited the moon, bringing in a new era for the United States.

But even with all his actions, there was still unrest and rioting in black ghettos. President Johsnon still exerted his influence against segregation and on behalf of law of order, but it was not easy.
He also had to deal wtih Viet Nam. On this problem, he limited the bombing of North Viet Nam to start negotiations and then he withdrew being a candidate for re-election so that he could devote his full efforts to the quest for peace.

Nixon had great negotations with China and Russia, he was credited with ending the americans fighting in Viet Nam. He also ended the draft.

You forgot Reagan, who was like Johnson in that he did not take any crap from anyone; air traffic controllers' and Iraq. and even only being in the oval office for just over two months was shot, got back up and still held his ground. He stimulated economic growth, curbed inflation. But most of all he made us feel good.

Dictator Dumbya, an arch criminal 30 counts says Judge Taylor, doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Nixon and Johnson. Dumbya is UNelected and a national disgrace and tragedy. Nixon was also evil, and probably the worst elected (unfortunately) president. Johnson was also a failure because of Viet Nam and a killer as all the above are, but he DID ultimately believe his constituency was ALL of the American people. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

Which Bush? All were dishonest and manipulative. However, I think all thought they were doing the right thing. And all did some things I agree with and some things I hate.
Nixon was intelligent, Johnson a fine poltician until he messed up in Viet Nam. All in all, I don't think too much of any of them.

Nixon was a ten.
Johnson mired us in Vietanam while his party played politics with the war. He helped to destroy Constitutionally guranteed states rights by forcing integration. Its an old TX trick, sell out the whites to exploit the minority. He gets zero.

Which Bush? This one has balls, his daddy was a closet Canadian, or something.
