Because you have to put the pictures from your camera onto your hard drive.

When you open up your camera and see all your pictures, select (highlight) all of them, right-click, and click "copy".

Open up "My Pictures", and right-click and click "Paste". Now all your pictures will be sent to you hardrive.

Now to email them, click "attach file", and click "browse". Open up My Pictures, and select the one you want to send.

Its easy.

this sounds like a limitation of your email program. Attaching pictures are just like attaching any other documents.

Also the picture could be too big. Some ISP may not allow files that big. Some email programs block pictures by default. Make sure yours is set properly, as well as, the person you're sending it to.

I have Kodak Easy Share and it is the best thing ever. You can download your pictures and it will open a new photo album every time you down load(remember to erase after every down load or you will end up with dups). Then you can attach what ever picture you want emailed (you can create your own address book too) and then everyone that you sent them too can view the pics and order what prints they want and they have lots of products as well, shirts, mugs etc...

I love it, it makes it easy to share pics and my family & friends can order what they want. I even scanned some pics and sent them and ordered extras for gifts for Mothers Day & Xmas.
