you can cite the 13th amendment all you want... Just be glad that the draft does not apply to females...
Cause 13th amendment or not, if there is a draft and your name comes up, than your packing your bags and going... either that or your going to jail... either way your going somewhere... and if you don't go to jail and you can get your a$$ to canada.. we don't want you here anyway.

Depends on (a) the war and (b) consequence for evasion. The Iraq war is clearly hurting the war on terrorism, a terrible mistake. However, I wouldn't ruin my life by evading it. I'll probably get back in one piece, stupid war or not, but if I go to jail for a couple years, I'm screwed.

HA, "we don't want you anyway", even though I am 51yrs old, with a bad knee, I wouldn't be afraid to fight when I had to, and die for what I believe, instead of living a long, cowardly existance, in a world dominated by corrupt politicians!
And don't worry, if we WANT you to go, we'll draft you too, eh?

They do have a draft that if called upon you would have to defend your country. You live here , you benefit from all freedoms, why wouldn't defend those freedoms if called to do so??

Hell, I have volunteered to go again. I'm already serving, so kinda pointless to me. Everyone should be proud of their country, just wish everyone was.
