No mainstream movies this year(so far)are good enough for the oscars. The only amazing film i've seen this year has been Little Miss Sunshine.
Films that should NOT get nominated for Best Picture/or anthing at the oscars(because their BAD):
Pirates of the Caribbean 2: DMC

I expect that nominations will go to Invincible and Little Miss Sunshine. Also, Mark Wahlberg for Invincible, Toni Collette, Greg Kinnear, Steve Carrell for Little Miss Sunshine.
Often films released later get nominations too, and since they havent been released yet, I dont know.

Well all I know is that "The Fountain" may give Hugh Jackman a nomination.

Don't know yet - the "real" Oscar contenders always come out in the Fall. Haven't seen any of them yet, so I really can't make a choice.

I have a feeling that Black Dahlia will be nominated for many of these categories. I am anxious to see this movie.

idk i guess i dont watch alot but i hope its not like the emmys where you didnt walk up to the stage. Well for best actress i think Anne Hathaway and for best actor channing and johnny depp. Best picture The pirates of the carribean 2
