I went to the stadium to see the game and it was the best professional game I have ever seen!!! I give the game ball to Scott Rolen for his hustle and turned a single into a two run in the park home run to tie!!!! Seemed to me alot of the players didn't hustle which was a little dissapointing. Jaques Jones missed a ball that went all the way back to the wall and it seemed almost like he was jogging. It also seemed like there were balls that could've been caught with a little hustle but were'nt. If I was out there, I would lay it on the line and give 1000%. These guys did'nt want to get their uniforms dirty. With the exception of Rolen who really won the game for them, the walk off grand slam was an excellent finish to the tied in the bottom of the 9th ballgame with two outs!

I agree on the hustle point but i think they need to be smart in the field because being over aggresive can really work against you. When i get mad is when the players dont hustle and try to beat out a ground ball in the infeild and put pressure on the defense

Don't forget that Encarnacion made two spectacular diving catches in Center Field! The team with the most hustle usually wins

I went to the Mets game vs the Cubs on July 26. Very well played and pitched by both teams and the Mets won it in the 10th with an exciting single by Jose Valentin with the bases loaded and 2 strikes 2 outs.

I went to a Tampa Bay / Baltimore game on Saturday (8/26).
Orioles came back to win in the 9th inning and repeated the feat the next day (8/27).
I like watching baseball, but I can't stand the Gypsy car salesman Bud Selig - he has single handedly destroyed the game. Only a salary cap can save baseball from its demise.

Not to dismiss Rolen's effort, but that play was scored as a single, with Rolen scoring on the outfielder's error. Good hustle nonetheless, but not a homer.

Saturday I went to the Futures at Fenway double header. Two minor league affiliates of the Red Sox played. Cheap too. I will not go to a major league game again. I have been attending minor league and wooden bat league games for years. Good games and much less expensive than MLB.

Last game I saw was a Three Rivers Stadium in 1993. I was bored out of my mind and swore never to go back. I guess the Pirates will do that to you.

i circulate to approximately 20 to 20-5 Reds video games a 300 and sixty 5 days, and that i continuously finally end up sitting with followers from the different team. i've got had large conversations with various them. American activities regularly do no longer might desire to chop up followers.

I was at a Cubs-Astros game at Wrigley on July 20. Any game at Wrigley is a true treat. (I live in Iowa, not particularly close to any MLB team. The closest team to me is the Royals and they don't count as an MLB team) LOL
