That's right, man, everyone... and I mean EVERYONE... was born into the same ideal socioeconomic situation, with the same golden opportunities ripe for the plucking and the same self-centered malice towards charity for the much less fortunate.
No, wait, I take that last bit back, no one is "less fortunate". There are no downtrodden, there are no disenfranchised, there are no helpless and homeless and hopeless... there are only those with checkbooks and those too lazy to get one for themselves. And those people are liberals, aren't they sparky?
Those damned liberals who don't absolutely KNOW that no one in this world will ever need help. How DARE they? How dare they think people need occasional support? How DARE people ask for it and/or accept it? Why... if YOU could make yourself what you are today, why can't everyone else? Why isn't everyone elses situation like yours?
No, wait, I did it again. Situation doesn't MATTER, does it? Noooooo... children born to poverty have just as much going for them in the beginning as children born to upper-middleclass parents. It's true. And even if that wasn't true, gosh, they're still just as likely to receive just as many advantages later on!
You're right... the world really DOES look just like the one you see through your conservative goggles.

Unlike Republicans,Democrats do not blame the other party as a first resort.
Republicans enter poltics usually as a venture capitalist endeavor.Such as Bush to change oil driling laws and tax codes. And Karl Rove pursuing a career out
a life-long personal vendetta over his hurt feelings for not being invited to the seual revolution.
Republicans are totally flexible on the topic of "values".To them, agreeing or disagreeing with segregation,or the sepereation of church and state, for example, depends on where the money is.
Truth be told, time has proven Republican have NO lock on values.
Who was it that cared for our elderly and poor children when no-one else would? Who provided desepearte women an alternative to the back alley.Who has stood up to racial bigotry, and ALL bigotry,in a way most Republicans dont have the guts?
that's right,the Democrats.
So that's the difference.Republicans are for the
hostile few,but the Democrats support the rights of ALL Americans.E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Even those concerned with the Presidents mishandlings of foreign and domestic policy.

I'm not on your back and begging you for your money and I don't think many of the "Liberal" students in my finance class at UCLA are either. In fact not only are they striving for a better education, they are also working hard in the corporate world, paying for there own health care and putting their money into stocks and bonds for the stability it will bring to them and their future family. I'm not quite sure who exactly you're pointing the finger at because most people I know are Liberals or Democrats and never beg and are very competent.
It seems like you have been fooled and I suggest you start educating yourself in politics, because son, you have not a clue on earth what's going on around you.

Yeah. Really. I'm really tired of spending tax dollars for Katrina. I mean, the government should never have picked up the tab. That is most certainly the state's responsibility.
Oh yeah, and farm subsidies. We don't need that either.
War in Iraq? If I don't see a drop of oil out of it, it's just wasting money.
Hey man, and last time I checked, the red states had the highest income of social welfare.
Oh yeah, and as for your socialism claim, most European countries are socialist nations. They turned out okay. Admittedly, they have a low growth rate, but they don't have to worry about the growing rift in classes.
Note:
The liberals aren't your enemies. We're trying to help you. We see that you take in the most amount of tax dollars. We also see that you like giving the government tabs for your own disasters. We also see you wanting to live in places where there isn't flood insurance, and expect the government to help you.
We HAVE accepted our position. We accepted it as the working class. We accepted the fact that we are the artisans of society.
And for something that seems very liberal oreinted, we understand the fact that Reagan's trickle down economy doesn't work.
We also understand that most liberals are not fiscal conservatives, but neither are republicans. But liberals at least understand that in order to pay for everything, we need to tax everything. Unlike the entire, "Borrow and spend." deal.
We know our place in society. We're the white collared workers.
It's the conservatives who need to start taking classes about the economy and how to spend money (not talking about the red elite. bunch of corrupt bastards).

Talk about a loser. I'm a liberal and I make good money myself. But I also understand what it's like to lose everything you have. My step-father used to make six figures a year, owned his own businesses, four homes, and had quite a lot saved up. But within two years, we lost both businesses, 3 of the four houses, and had less then $10k to our names. All because of drought and disease to our stock. He also ended up divorcing my mom a couple years later.
As for healthcare, my mom worked and saved up and through a bad accident at work found out that her employers HADN'T paid the government or their insurance or anything except for state and federal taxes. But the pay stubs showed that they were taking out what was supposed to go to FICA, Social Security, so she had to end up using her life's savings to cover healthcare and sue the owners for negligence. After 5 years, what started out as a six figure settlement, after attorney's fees, after the government taxed it and took out for Social Security and FICA, turned into a low 5 figure sum. And to this day she can't work.
I just hate the way you republicans think you know everything, when it's clear that you don't. You're very self-centered and rather boring people. You're so very much about taking responsibility for your actions, yet you don't practice what you preach. (My step-father is a republican. He still won't accept responsibility for the ranch going belly up when we tried to warn him. Somehow, it was the "liberals" fault that he didn't get the stock treated correctly.)
Republicans are hypocrites of the highest order.

I think your last line 'accept your position' just shows you to be the hateful sod you are. People should be entitled to higher wages, FREE healthcare amd so on.
You just seem bitter about the fact you have to pay people more then the poverty line..well get real. Its not as easy as 'find a job', anyone who's tried it knows its not easy. Whats this 'you' and 'me' buisness anyways?
I assume that because your not a 'Socialist', and you hate anythign left, that makes you..what, Facist? Nationalist?

I think you're yelling at the wrong people here. It's not the poor libs that are the problem--they've been trapped in the system by the Lefts policy of telling them they are not good enough. It's the rich ones you need to tell off. Celebs and rich dem politicians who have obscene amounts of money suffer from "rich-man's guilt" and genuinely believe the poor should be given all the govt entitlements..........as long as they personally are not funding it. ("Oh, that poor person.........the GOVT should really do more for him/her.........") When reps suggest limiting govt handouts, the libs scream, "nazi", "Racist" thus perpetuating "white-man's guilt" on the rep side. This is where reps are stupid. In order for them not wanting to 'look' racist, they keep passing out the cash.......
I strongly believe that by perpetuating the myth that minorities are disadvantaged (keep telling someone they're disadvantaged and they will eventually believe it) and entitled to subsidies because of it, the problem will never be solved. Why do you think Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton continue spew their hatred? If they didn't they'd be out of a job!
Oh, and Jim W--if libs AREN'T racist--why are you so race obsessed?

What a useless diatribe. You give me nothing. I work two jobs without your help. I earn my wages all by myself.
