small pest in my home. The are very very small probably smaller than a quarter inch they are silver in color(They are not silverfish) and are oval in shape. I could not see any legs. They apear to move like a fish. Does any one know what these things are?

I work for a pest control company and what you have is immature termites and you DO NEED TO CATCH THEM SOON.. they may be able to spray if caught in time but if not you will need to tent.. .mythlbromide or chloridane will be introduced into the home and tented overnight.. you can return late the following day but you need go take care of it soon before they start to fly... yes that's right ...FLY .. I'm not kidding the reason they look that way is the wings are wrapped around its body right now ( sort of like a butterfly or a moth) Good luck

There are some kinds of spiders that look gray when they are born and you can't see their nearly clear little legs. Baby spiders are very tiny and they do have a sort of oval shape. Have you checked with an exterminator?

You have termites those bugs eat wood and if u dont call an exterminator soon ur house can be at risk what they do is tent up your house u will have to leave for about 3 days or more then they spray the gas inside and it kills all those termits its kinda of expensive but oh so neccessary good luck

if you're in the USA, call your local Cooperative Extention office, usually run by the Farm Bureau...they can either tell you over the phone OR have you bring one by--and also give you suggestions on how to best rid your house of them!
