EBay rocks.

BUT you have to be very careful. Only buy from a reputable dealer (example: 100+feedbacks with 100% rating. you want someone who's been doing it for a while.) Remember, if it's too good to be true then it is...and you'll get taken. I'd recommend paying with paypal. Make sure you have PayPal buyer protection. PP shows next to seller name. Always ask lots of questions.

I've bought loads of stuff off eBay and I love it...just remember it's buyer beware. Do your homework so you don't get taken for a ride. I've received junk that people didn't advertise correctly. There's a few bad apples in the bunch.

I have even bought a wonderful Dell laptop with the remaining 3 year factory warranty (she got an extended warranty) from an EBay seller...just be careful

staple have 15 days return policy for technology items
because technology change so fast
so my advice is dont buy any second hand
instead look for
new AMD sempron or AMD turion processor laptop
they have more battery life
and they are much efficient than pentium 4 laptop
ACER is good one
u can buy from circuitcity
they have ACER AS5003WLMI on sale this week only 499

check out ur local craigslist.com
then ebay
i recommend just buy a new one, for $800 out the door, dell does a decent job!
