1) Don't do web mail on a PC that they might use, ever.
2) Use Outlook if the PC is shared with them, and encrypt your PST file (mail folders) with a password.
3) Don't put in a "secret question" that they might know the answer to... if you have to, lie about the answer. (example: Hotmail asks "What was your first school?", set the answer to be your best friend's first school in another state.)
4) Password protect all logins, including your PC login (Windows), your Internet Service Provider Password, your mail login/password, and the password for your mail folders (PST file in Outlook). And make sure the password is at least 7 chatacters long, with at least one upper case letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one number, and at least one "special character" like @ or ! or # or $ or %. A good example for a password to this page you are reading right now might be Yah00Answer$

It means your family members know your Password. Change it. No one has the authority to know other's password. May be your family members feel something fishy about your mails. If you have no such things that would make them feel unhappy, read your mails with your family member(s) someday. Next time I am sure they will not read your mails again.

Well, for one thing never tell anyone your password. If they don't have your password they can't read your mail. And if they have your password change it. Just because you are married doesn't mean you have to tell all your business. Also never leave your email address up on the computer after you finished be sure to exit out.

If you don't have anything to hide, then don't worry about it...on the other hand your business is your business, no one has the right to snoop into your business...married or not. If it's really bothering you, change your password or get a new email account with a not so obvious password

The best way to create a pass word is to use a word you know and then add numbers in between. For example, if you want to use "apple", then insert "2468" in the word to create "a2p4p6l8e" These kinds of passwords are easy to remember but difficult for others to figure out.
