ok, I love a girl of my village. We belong to same Gotra. Hindu society don't allow such relationships. Can I legally marry her. I can't live without her so plz tell me a way.
I would be really thankful.

DO IT LEGALLY. NOW THERE IS A RULE THAT SAYS MARRIAGES SHOULD BE REGISTERED. NO ONE CAN STOP U UNLESS U BOTH R UNDER-AGED & KNOW WAYS TO CARRY ON YOUR LIVING & PROVIDE FOR THE FAMILY.

No, it is not legal.

BUT, there is a way out. Get yourself adopted officially by someone belonging to another gotra. Hindu religion allows this and there is a ritual for it. Don't forget to have proof of adoption. Then get married to the girl you love.

If she is not blood relative for a 5-7 generations then yes you can.
Chek it out with some lawyer.

You cant get married by adoption if its otherwise would have been illigal.

it's legal to marry within the same caste in India. Nobody worries about that anymore.
