And you did not win millions. Let's say, about $250,000. I want to see people's greed or generosity. And generosity comes in many forms. It can be as simple as helping someone you know who is in debt, when you aren't. Or even contributing to the Katrina relief. I myself would buy a new car and motorcycle. My house is already paid off, so I would not worry about that. Put $125,000 in my account. And use the rest for what I consider charity. Like take all my good friends on a vacation. Come back, and probably give the rest to red cross and let them do with it what they choose. Red cross should get at least $50,000 after it is aid and done.

Hey wurm. I never said what you should do. I simply put what one "could" do. There are many answers to put. What would "YOU" do? Honestly? If you read this please put a different answer. Like I said, I am just curious.

For a smaller sum I'd bank the whole thing, maybe in 4 different CD term deposits, set to expire at different times. Then with each interest cheque I could buy nicer than usual gifts for family and friends and any local or world problems that were topical at the time could also benefit. I'd keep the principal set aside for retirement.

If I won the lotto I would pay off my depts, get a new car which I'm in so desperate need of, open an IRA, invest in a good stock market and help the needy. Also, I would help my family members in need.

I would payoff my mother's house, and by myself a home. What is the state of Louisana doing for its residents, nothing. I don't hear Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida still complaining about the hurricane a year later.

I would definately take lots of the money and donate it to the MS Chapter Society to help find a cure for one, pay off my house and car bill, make sure my parents have no bills to pay off, and make sure my two boys would be set in their lives to accomplish their goals.

Well, since you've already stated what I "should" do, I'm not going to bother. Next time maybe save what you'd do till after you get answers.
