yogasana is good for obesity. but if you are too fat then better try it out slowly and lightly. see if you can warm up a little before going to yogasana.
doing yogasana is not enough to be slim.. you will have to eat a little less. if you eat as normal, then it surely will decrease your weight.
yogasana has never given you unsatisfactory results. it is more than 5000 years old excercise

watch for free Swamy Ramdevjis yoga "asanas" every night from 8.30 to 9.30 at Sanskar channel, and other channels are showing during day time also buy his CD "pranayam" just for Rs.110/- a set of two, follow his instructions very rigidly, regularly and stop eating oily stuff, junk food, any thing which has too much fat, be very strict with your self .. u have to have patience give your self at least 6 months to feel the difference... the day u start weigh your self and every month on a fixed date, keep a card

yes it is very good but start very slow and go for walks and a few Ayurvedic treatments to jump start the weight loss.
