Can you take it anytime?

Hi i just wanted to know, can you take the contraceptive pill before you go to bed and continue taking it this time for the time you take the pill. last time i was on the pill i tookit in the morning, but i would rather take it at night. But is it ok , i no i have to take it the same time everyday and if you forget you have 12 hours to take it etc. Just want to know if i can take it this tat this time. Thanks

Well I`ve been taking it at bedtime for the past 5 years and I`ve been ok. Its what suits you and your routine.

Yes its fine, just make sure you take it around the same time everynight and dont forget a dose, or usually you have to use condoms as well and take it for an extra two weeks.

Yep, as long as you take it at the same time every day you can take it morning, afternoon or evening, whenever suits you best. I take mine at night before I go to bed because I take other medication which is to be taken at night, so it's easier to take them both at the same time.

Yes, you can take it any time that works for you. Lots of women choose to take it at bedtime because it can be part of your routine that way (less likely to forget it) and because if it makes you nauseated (as it sometimes does the first little while) you can be asleep before that happens.

yes i had to take it a hight just before going to sleep cos it made me feel sick. taking it at the same time is a good reminder. you can miss the odd one and still be protected if you take it within a few hours but this is not recommended.
