Depends on what you're looking for.

For all out # of coasters, it's SF Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA

For the best steel coaster in the world, you'd go to SF New England in Agawam, MA for Superman Ride of Steel.

For best two steel coasters at a SF park, it'd be SF Great Adventure in New Jersey.

For best shopping nearby, you'd go to SF Great America (which also has a fun "racing" woodie, American Eagle, which has Gurnee Mills shopping mall across the street.

For best park near other amusement parks, it'd be SF Magic Mountain, because you can spend a couple more days in So Cal and get to Univ Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, and Disneyland.

For shows, it's Fiesta TX in San Antonio TX, hands down. Best show park of ALL amusement parks. I also just happen to like that park for their food too, but that's just me. They also have a great night show on the limerock canyon which is next to the park.

So, tell me what you like and I'll tell ya the best park to go to! :-)

Or just pick!!! Hope that helps!

The tallest rollercoaster in the US is at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New jersey (Kingda Ka). It aslo has a new wooden coaster, my new favorite, that has the steepest drop of a wooden coaster in the world (El Toro). It also has coasters Batman, Batman and Robin: CHiller, Nitro, Medusa, Superman Ultimate FLight, Great American Scream Machine, Rolling Thunder, and some other good rides. I've never been to any others but the lines here SUCK, and the prices are too high. I dont know if they have a free fastpass system like disney has at any six flags.

By default I'd have to say Six Flags New England somewhere along the Mass/Conn border. It's the only one I've been to.
