pull cord to start engine

I believe that is an early unit.
Try the factory of course,also e-bay.
Do a google search for parts.

you can go to any shop that fixes chainsaws and have this installed. It is just a nylon cord. It will probably cost you maybe 5 dollars. go to a Stihl or Husqvarna dealer near you. They will fix it

you can usually go to any small engine repair shop and get this. Bring your chainsaw with you and they may do it while you wait,it does not take that long to do.
